To purchase equipment through the NDIS, you will need to make sure Assistive Technology (equipment) is included in your NDIS plan.
How to request funding for Assistive Technology
- List all the equipment and technology you currently use.
- Browse our bikes and request a quote for the one you want to purchase (we can help with this, and can also adapt bikes to suit specific needs).
- Estimate how much it will cost to keep the bike in good condition (we can help with this too).
- Write down how the assisted technology (e-bike) will help you in your daily life.
- Ask your occupational therapist to fill out the Assistive Technology Assessment Form.
- Show all your paperwork to the person in charge of your NDIS plan.
