We’re happy to see the NSW Productivity Commission has included our recommendation to increase the power of commercial cargo bikes in their Regulating Emerging Technologies report.
They sought our input as the supplier of Australia Post’s electric mail bikes for over 10 years and leading advocates for sustainable mobility.
Increasing power from 250W to 1,000W and allowing quadricycles would transform Australia’s commercial delivery and disabled transport sectors.
We support a ‘outcomes focussed, technology neutral’ approach, which encourages innovation. We’re ready to roll with trials of new technology to help guide the implementation of better regulations.
